The Position
As Senior IT/OT Solution Manager you will, together with two colleagues, be responsible for our, more than 30, PLC and SCADA based automation systems, which supports the production in our Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) Pilot factories. You will be responsible for keeping the systems operational and in compliance with Novo Nordisk requirements and thereby requirements from health authorities.
Furthermore, you will communicate and collaborate closely with many colleagues both internally in the department, but also in our Pilot factories. The position is based in Bagsværd, Denmark.
Your key responsibilities:
Operational Support

Develop and maintain system documentation (e.g. Risk Assessment, Design, Configuration and Processes.)

Provide support for IT/OT systems, troubleshooting issues, and minimizing downtime
Compliance
-
Ensure configuration and user management.
-
Ensure business continuity in terms of backup and recovery to minimize downtime.
IT Security
-
Ensure OT systems comply with relevant security standards and regulatory requirements.

Implement and monitor cybersecurity measures to protect OT systems from threats and vulnerabilities.
Projects and System Integration

Design, implement and verify the integration of new PLC/SCADA systems, ensuring compatibility and interoperability.

Work closely with engineering, production, and IT teams to develop robust integration solutions.
Life Cycle Management

Life Cycle Assessment of systems regarding Vendor support, Recovery, Hardware, Software and OS Support

Software and Hardware upgrades based on the Life Cycle Assessment.
We work mainly with the Siemens and Rockwell PLC’s together with WinCC & iFix SCADA technologies. For the System Management of our systems, we mainly use ServiceNow. It is not a prerequisite that you have experience with these systems or technologies in specific, although it will be an advantage if you do.
Qualifications
You hold a higher education such as B.Sc. or M.Sc. within Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. As an ideal candidate you have:

Proficiency in network infrastructure, cybersecurity, and data management.

Experience with development and maintaining of system documentation (e.g. risk assessments, SOP’s, Guidelines)

Effective communication skills in English and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Understanding of IT and OT systems, preferably SCADA and PLC.

Experience with IT/OT requirement settings, design and testing

Understanding of working in a GMP environment

About the Department
As part of Novo Nordisk PSQIT organisation, Chemistry, Manufacturing and Control (CMC) Development & Scaling makes a real difference for patients with chronic diseases across the world. We develop, manufacture and distribute drug candidates for clinical trials and have a strong culture with a “can do” mind-set.
The IT & Automation team is organised within CMC API Pilots, where we work with operation and maintenance of automation systems, ensuring stable and efficient operation of our IT/OT systems, keeping the systems in compliance, and ensuring data availability in our 6 Pilot factories. The team currently consists of 16 highly competent System Managers and Automation Engineers working across different automation and data technologies.
