About this role
As an IT System Specialist in the MES Centre of Excellence (CoE), you will play a key role in improving the efficiency of all manufacturing-related processes globally and be at the center of transformation activities. You can, therefore, look forward to a dynamic project-oriented community working in an international environment with colleagues from all over the world supporting both our local and global sites.
As part of the System Operations Team in the MES CoE, you will report to the System Operations Manager. You will be part of a team of other specialists, responsible for operations and maintenance of the NN PAS-X system, services and supporting infrastructure. In this role you will own and drive communication in an assigned area covering multiple production sites globally, participating proactively in Installation and Upgrade planning, and more.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Own and drive communication proactively with partners both internally and across multiple production sites
- Own and drive installation/upgrades by executing runbook steps with vendors and partners
- Escalate missing deliverables from vendors/partners to MES CoE Release Manager, and manage/communicate risks effectively
- Own and drive ad-hoc tasks (i.e analysis, scripting, coordination etc)
- Own and drive knowledge sharing across System Operations team from installation / Upgrades
- Escalate runbook execution findings and align resolutions with MES CoE Solution Architect
To be successful in this role, we require the following:
- Have an academic degree within a relevant discipline e.g. IT, business, economics, or equivalent.
- Have proven success in a similar position for at least two years - working with installation and qualification in IT operations
- Ability to navigate and manage responsibilities in a critical and complex environment, including the skillset to understand the criticality, and independently prioritise and take action
- Effective communication (English is required) and ability to collaborate easily with partners, Line of Business, and others
- At least 2 years working with GxP IT system validation or a similar regulated production environment
Preferred experience/knowledge:
- Have a solid knowledge of deploying PAS-X or another MES System
