IT System Specialist

Do you want to be part of the central program supporting Manufacturing Execution solutions at Novo Nordisk? Would you like to empower shopfloor value with new, long-term automation technologies and deploy the Manufacturing Execution System (MES), setting directions for harmonized and standardized solutions for the future?

If so, then we cannot wait to meet you. Apply below!

Let’s talk about the role

As an IT System Specialist, you'll be a vital part of our global manufacturing process improvement efforts, working in a dynamic, international, and project-focused environment. You'll make independent decisions aligned with business requirements and strategy, collaborating with colleagues worldwide to support both local and global sites.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Oversee the installation, configuration, and qualification of our Production Automation System (PAS-X) MES system for new Production facilities around the world, working with central system management and vendors
  • Facilitate clarification of technical aspects of the application and underlying infrastructure components with central resources, vendors, and corporate stakeholders in a Good x Practice (GxP)regulated environment
  • Supervise and maintain stand-alone PAS-X instance on industrial PC used for Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) including user guide
  • Manage the deployment and integration of LEAPWORK Test Automation Platform with TIMS, Novo Nordisk's main Test and Validation Tool, while also creating test flows for PAS-X GMBR's
  • Collaborate with other stakeholders and vendors to adapt new technologies while actively improving and optimizing our processes internally and across teams within Product Supply and Digital, Data & IT (DD&IT PS)
  • Ensure IT security, data integrity, and adhering to Novo Nordisk procedures and external guidelines for Computer Systems Validation, the role is later planned to transition to support deployment team roll-outs

Which competencies to bring?

As an ideal candidate you have:

  • An academic degree within a relevant discipline e.g. IT, business, economics, or equivalent. ITU graduates are also encouraged to apply
  • Proven success in a similar position for at least two years - working with installation and qualification
  • Experience with GxP IT system validation in a regulated production environment
  • Solid knowledge of deploying PAS-X or another MES System
  • A flair for stakeholder management to collaborate easily with vendors, consultants, and with customers
  • Excellent communication skills both in written and spoken English; Danish skills would be advantageous

We're looking for someone who can quickly adapt to changing priorities, blend IT expertise with empathy to solve technical issues, and communicate effectively with non-IT colleagues. Your ability to manage responsibilities in a complex environment and prioritize critical tasks independently is essential for success in this role.

The team waiting for you

You'll be part of the Product Management team in Novo Nordisk's MES Agile Programme, focused on enhancing manufacturing processes through automation and optimization. Based in Bagsvaerd (Greater Copenhagen area), you'll collaborate closely with colleagues in Product Supply, working with a diverse team to drive global manufacturing processes to new heights. This opportunity is part of the dynamic and expanding DD&IT PS area, comprising over 800 employees worldwide dedicated to transforming IT in our production and supply chain domain at Novo Nordisk.
