Your new role

As an IT Security Professional, you will work onsite at our production facilities, ensuring that our IT infrastructure and systems are secure, compliant, and resilient. You will play a critical role in protecting the systems that support the production of medicines that reach millions of patients worldwide.

This role will support all four Aseptic Manufacturing (AM) production sites in Denmark, located in Bagsværd, Hillerød, Kalundborg and Gentofte. You should expect regular travel between sites as you maintain security across our production environment.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Implementing and maintaining IT security measures across multiple production sites
• Monitoring, detecting, and responding to security incidents and threats in real-time
• Collaborating closely with IT infrastructure, support, and automation teams to ensure seamless security integration
• Ensuring compliance with Novo Nordisk IT security policies and industry regulations
• Conducting risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to proactively identify and address security gaps
• Supporting security audits and regulatory inspections
• Driving security awareness and best practices across the production environment

Your new department

In Global Manufacturing Supply, we cover the full value chain from drug and device development to marketed Novo Nordisk products. We are more than 30,000 colleagues across the globe with the shared responsibility of scaling molecules, processes, devices, and products, dedicated to supplying life-saving medicines to the patients who need them most.

You will be part of a dynamic and collaborative team of 15 professionals in Aseptic Manufacturing, including colleagues from IT Support, IT Infrastructure, Automation, IT Compliance and PASX, all reporting to a Senior Manager onsite in Bagsværd. Together, you will ensure the security and stability of our production IT environment, safeguarding the systems that enable us to manufacture at scale.

Your skills & qualifications

We're looking for an IT Security Professional who is passionate about cybersecurity and thrives in a production environment where your work directly impacts patient safety. You'll bring with you:

• A minimum of a relevant bachelor's degree in e.g. IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or another related field
• +3 years of proven experience in IT security, preferably in a regulated or production environment
• Strong knowledge of network security, endpoint protection, and security frameworks (e.g., ISMS 27001, NIS2)
• Experience with OT/ICS security is an advantage
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and sites
• The ability to work independently while managing security across multiple production sites
• Fluency in English
