Let’s talk about the role.

As our new IT Operations Manager, you will be a vital company in securing the streamlined process of life-saving medicine, by minimizing the critical IT Incidents across our producent sites. In doing so, you will both be playing a key role in solving incidents when they happen, but increasingly important also securing the cooperation and proactive approach afterwards, minimizing the possibility for future incident to happen. To do so, you will use both your pragmatic and proactive approach in an area where urgency, reliability and adaptability is the core.


Here you will get the opportunity to use your strong inter-personal skills to collaborate, communicate and challenge across sites and with several different stakeholders, through necessary interactions. Here it will be crucial that you can ensure strong collaboration with frontend and backend teams, local IT support, vendors, partners, focusing on clear communication and transparency.Likewise, you will, as IT Operations Manager, be streamlining the problem management process to a high level of maturity and efficiency and support the business in reducing IT interruption and unplanned production downtime. As part of this task, you will get to use your experience within problem management to overcome critical incidents across all of our sites.

Some of your key responsibilities will be:

  • Overseeing and securing functional collaboration between different stakeholders through necessary interaction, through communication, collaboration, and facilitation, both with internal stakeholders and external vendors. 
  • Driving post-incident reviews with a focus on continuous improvements, as well as follow-up on preventive actions.
  • Analyzing recurring issues/outage and proactively recommend improvement solutions to Problem Management.
  • Overseeing and secure incident and problem management in accordance with agreed OLA/SLA and KPIs within the defined support scope.
  • Ensuring IT Process improvements and performance, promoting effectiveness and efficiency.


Which competencies to bring?
To be successful in the role, we imagine that you come with 3-5 years of experience within Problem Management and IT Operations within the production industry, preferably from a global company. Just as important, we see that you have the right mindset, where you are able to engage with many different stakeholders, often at critical times, where you will be able to use your positive, proactive and solution-oriented mindset through your excellent communication skills and a strong commitment and decisive nature.


As such, we are looking for someone who resonates most of the following boxes: 

  • The ability and patience to anticipate and understand customer behavior, where you will be able to maintain composure and professionalism during critical incidents, coupled with proficient analytical and decision-making skills
  • Fostering of robust relationships with stakeholders and seamlessly collaborate with external vendors, embodying Novo Nordisk's representation as a customer
  • Prior knowledge of supporting production IT systems like PAS-X (MES) or other IT/OT systems, and experience within IT compliance and IT Process documentation are an advantage
  • The ability to ensure effective teamwork across diverse functions, through outstanding organizational prowess, and a collaborative, humorous, and open-minded approach
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements or experience within the pharma industry and GxP compliance is an advance 
  • Fluent spoken and written English and Danish is a prerequisite
