If so, join us in this new role as a Health and Safety Coordinator in Novo Nordisk’s Corporate Facilities.
The position
As a Health and Safety Coordinator at Novo Nordisk, you will play a crucial role in supporting health and safety partners and representatives by organizing meetings and workshops, collecting pertinent data, and reporting to Safety Partners and management. Your efforts will ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines and regulations across all Corporate Facilities. You will actively gather and analyse data, which is essential for fostering a safe work environment and promoting best practices in health and safety.
Some of your responsibilities will be to:
- Support safety partners in enhancing the Safety Management System by ensuring adherence to relevant standards and regulations.
- Initiate and coordinate the collection and consolidation of data required for health and safety reporting across various departments.
- Update and maintain health and safety data, create comprehensive reports, and perform detailed analysis.
- Coordinate high-risk actions by ensuring stakeholder involvement in discussions and obtaining timely updates from project owners.
- Maintain risk registers, action plans, and status dashboards by clearly documenting identified risks and their potential impacts.
Even though the role will be based in Bagsvaerd, please expect to visit other Novo Nordisk sites regularly.
Qualifications
· Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field. To hold a Master Degree would be a plus.
· Certifications in Health and Safety, such as ISO 45001, IOSH, and NEBOSH, are preferred.
· You have about 3-4 years of experience working in Health & Safety, preferably in a corporate or industrial setting.
· Previous experience from facility management and/or from a technical position will be taken in consideration.
· Excellent communication skills with fluency in written and spoken English and Danish.
As a person, you are adept at managing multiple tasks simultaneously, effectively prioritizing your workload in a fast-paced environment. Your strong organizational skills enable you to navigate shifting demands while maintaining a focus on quality and safety.
You excel at developing and nurturing relationships with both internal and external partners, fostering collaboration and a sense of teamwork. Your excellent interpersonal communication skills allow you to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders, promoting a positive and proactive safety culture within the organization.
About the Department
Corporate Facilities (CFa) strategy supports the entire Cfa in matters related to Health and Safety. You will be part of a team consisting of two safety partners and a CVP Safety Partner. Additionally, you will work together with AMR seated in the Cfa organization across the entire Cfa.
The team supports the entire CFa.
