The position
Your main tasks will include: 

  • Driving safety initiatives within the HS team to ensure compliance with health and safety policies, strategies, and targets, including global standards such as ISO 45001. 
  • This partner role involves close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to continuously improve safety practices and foster a robust culture of well-being and safety throughout the organization. It plays a pivotal role in promoting a work environment where safety is paramount and impacts the safety of all teams connected to this role.
  • It acts as a safety advisor for PS AM Units and is a link between NN HS for consultation and development solutions with particular focus to Life Safety Rules and Construction Safety Standards.

 

Qualifications
To be successful in this position, you have: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety Engineering or similar degree and specific courses. 
  • Master Degree in Safety or a similar area.
  • Deep knowledge of ISO 45001 and manufacturing processes / GMP.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience within occupational safety processes in Construction Projects. 
  • Deep cross-functional work experience with high subject matter expertise. 
  • Solid teaching and coaching colleagues’ experience. 
  • Demonstrated impact of competencies and know-deployed critical execution of core processes. 
  • Familiarity with basic risk management concepts, techniques, and tools NN uses.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English.

About the department
The position serves the full Aseptic Manufacturing (AM) area in Novo Nordisk and is anchored in Aseptic Manufacturing Engineering (AME) organizational unit of AM. AME plays a key role in accelerating a major transformation to improve performance across our global network of factories in Asia, Europe as well as North and South America to meet the need of the increasing number of people living with diabetes and obesity.
