About the department
To succeed with key strategic and operational targets, Novo Nordisk has decided to invest ambitiously in training and lean over the coming years. As part of this investment, we are searching for 5 new leaders across our new SVP area training units in the fastest growing area of Novo Nordisk – Product Supply, Quality & IT (PSQIT). We have open positions in the following SVP areas within PSQIT; 
•    Aseptic Manufacturing (AM), 
•    Finished Product Manufacturing (FPM) 
•    Novo Nordisk Quality (NNQ) 
•    Emerging Technologies (ET) 
•    External Supply (ES)


In these positions you will become a key member of the Global P&O Business Partnering area at Novo Nordisk and report directly to the SVP HR Business Partner and functionally to the PSQIT Training Partner.
Functionally you will lead all training managers globally within the business area. You will also head up a department of highly skilled leaders, project managers, and specialists and be part of driving our ambitious change journey towards globally optimizing the way we enable and improve human performance. The SVP Training units will take the lead on implementing a rock-solid and modern training system, through the scaling of best practice, not leaving stakeholders before they are satisfied, business impact has been proven, and solutions are sustainable. You will lead a department full of talented people from various backgrounds who work closely together to deliver our business goals.

 

About the position
As head of training across the SVP area, you will ensure that everyone are highly engaged, competent, and clear on our shared purpose and current priorities. You will work closely with the SVP HRBP management team, setting the direction, and relentlessly striving to improve the impact of the training standards and support across the areas. The success of your area is measured by the level of customer satisfaction as well as key performance indicators such as reduction of deviations, minimized “time to perform”, improved right first time, and productivity gains. However, your own performance is also evaluated through shared key behavior indicators and the values presented in the Novo Nordisk Way. 

 

To truly understand what adds value and makes a difference for your stakeholders, you spend most of your time on the shop floor, leading and coaching your team of leaders and specialists. Together with the local training units and the global training community, you ensure that all business areas are successfully able to develop, implement, and improve standards and high-quality training content in an aligned and compliant way.

 

Key responsibilities will include:
•    Foster a culture of continuous improvement by promoting ongoing competence development for employees and managers through daily management, high-quality Team Development Plans (TDP), performance,  management, individual development plans, training, and planning, while promoting and practicing cLEAN Leadership in tools, mindset, and organisational culture.
•    Provide comprehensive Area Training Process Management to ensure compliance and drive improvements to the GxP regulated training processes at Novo Nordisk. Additionally, offering support for systematic problem-solving initiatives.
•    Lead the aligned implementation and utilisation of training standards, tools, and technologies.
•    Guide Training Managers in identifying, developing, and scaling best practice training solutions based on business needs and priorities across the SVP area.

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, the ideal person will possess an academic degree, preferably a Master’s, in a relevant field. Other relevant skills and experiences are as follows:

•    Several years of experience in a leadership position with at least 3-5 years of experience as a leader, preferably including experience as leader of leaders 
•    Ample experience within process management within a GxP environment, preferably across pharmaceutical manufacturing and processes.
•    Solid knowledge of cGMP/Quality and regulatory requirements with the ability to drive compliance throughout the business area.
•    Adept with LEAN or Training Within Industry methodologies and philosophies within a training/learning & development environment.
•    Professional fluency in both written and verbal English.

Your strength lies in creating followship and influencing others through the cultivation of trusted working relationships. Your high level of cooperation and communication skills, coupled with the ability to work independently and take initiative, are essential for excelling in this role.
