The position
As Head of Compliance Hotline, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that Novo Nordisk’s global business operates ethically. You will lead a dedicated and diverse team, overseeing the investigation of whistle-blower cases globally. In addition, your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and developing the Compliance Hotline function, including managerial responsibility for 5 full-time employees
- Proactively engaging with stakeholders at all levels and across all regions and business functions of Novo Nordisk
- Coordinating investigations, including interviews of subjects and witnesses related to Business Ethics and Accounting Fraud across Novo Nordisk group
- Collaborating cross-functionally to hand over cases to our Global Legal, Ethics & Compliance network and supervising local investigations
- Leading the development of Compliance Hotline reporting tools and supporting continuous improvement of internal investigation processes
- Conducting training activities across the Global Legal, Ethics & Compliance network as part of our Investigation Academy
This position may require occasional travel.
Qualifications
In order to qualify for this position, you hold a Master’s degree or diploma in Finance, Business Law, Business Administration, Auditing or other relevant background related to investigations. In addition, you will have:
- 5-7 years of investigative, healthcare compliance, or auditing experience, with at least 2 years of managerial responsibility
- Knowledge of forensic tools such as NUIX or equivalent, as well as SAP
- Strong communication skills with proficiency in written and spoken English
- In-depth knowledge of compliance risk in the pharma industry is an advantage
- A digital mindset is considered as an advantage

About the department
You will be heading up the Compliance Hotline team, which is part of the Business Assurance & Compliance SVP area, A dynamic and ambitious team located at our Danish Headquarter in Bagsværd, Denmark. Our area consists of 120 dedicated colleagues with diverse backgrounds and nationalities, fostering an informal and collaborative working environment.
