Your new role
You will be responsible for the HVAC systems for 7 pilot plants with classified areas in CMC API Pilots. 5 in Bagsværd, 1 in Gentofte, and 1 in Hillerød. You will be responsible for qualifications related to changes, re-qualifications, and handling deviations and change cases. In addition, your work will include:
- Being technically responsible, identifying the right solutions and ensuring optimal operation afterwards
- Providing technical support for internal projects
- Handling operational issues and supporting the sites in minor and major deviations
- Drive minor projects yourself
- Ensuring GMP documentation after re-qualifications
- Managing master data for our ventilation equipment
In CMC API Pilots there is a strong focus on energy and environmental improvements, and as part of your area of responsibility you will be tasked with ensuring progress on these improvements within CMC API Pilots, including follow-up and reporting on submitted tasks. We offer a varied daily workday where you will be challenged every day and need to make quick decisions, and where you solve tasks in collaboration with both external suppliers and production.
You must be comfortable communicating in English, both written and spoken, as the company language is English.
Your new department
You will be part of Utilities in Technical Support, which is part of CMC API Pilots in Bagsværd. The team currently consists of engineers, marine engineers, technicians, and a skilled worker responsible for operation, maintenance, and optimization of BMS, ventilation, black and clean utilities for production, laboratory, and office facilities. The team operates, among other things, cooling systems, compressed air and vacuum systems, ventilation systems, water systems (PW), as well as nitrogen systems (cryogenic tanks and distribution systems). In addition to being responsible for operations, we are also responsible for minor building projects, validations, and re-qualifications in the associated pilot facilities.

Your skills and qualifications
To succeed in the role, you have a Master of Science in Engineering (e.g., within maintenance or building engineering) with experience in HVAC, or equivalent educational qualifications. In addition, you ideally have:
- 2–3 years of GMP experience or more
- Broad technical insight with knowledge of HVAC systems
- Experience from a similar operations organization in the pharmaceutical industry
- Experience in project coordination
- Preferably experience with ER/OR as well as validations (SRV)
You are able to work independently, have strong personal impact, and can deliver results. You communicate results and plans clearly, and you have a structured approach to your work. You can keep an overview when “things are on fire,” and it is essential that you approach tasks and colleagues with a positive attitude and good spirits.
