To support Novo Nordisk Quality, we are expanding with a new HR Business Partner. We are looking for a proactive colleague with a strategic mindset, who can thrive in a constantly changing environment. You will be an appreciated colleague in the team of four experienced, ambitious, and inclusive HR Business Partners.

The position
You will identify and ensure P&O deliveries on both strategic and operational level which includes among other things:

  • Act as a proactive HR Business Partner and drive a P&O agenda that contributes to business growth and success
  • Ensure successful organizational development and effectiveness
  • Ensure and support successful leadership development
  • Plan, standardize and execute HR processes and HR tasks seamlessly
  • Support and challenge that “The Novo Nordisk Way” is lived in NNQ
  • Support the Novo Nordisk diversity and inclusion agenda is lived in NNQ


As HR Business Partner you will support leaders in different parts of the NNQ organization in Denmark, and the main task is to work closely with the leaders and their leadership teams. You will be a member of the local Management teams, sparring with the leaders on all aspects of leadership challenges and organisational development. You will proactively drive the P&O agenda in a busy environment, and you need to ensure that P&O initiatives meet the local needs and support the quality agenda.

You will also be responsible for executing and improving key P&O processes such as the Organisational Development Plan (ODP), Performance Management, Talent Management including Diversity & Inclusion and Employee Engagement.


You have a solid P&O professional background and experience as an HR Business Partner.  Alternatively, you have solid experience from one or more of the CoE fields of P&O. You have a relevant degree, proven results and a minimum of five years of working experience within P&O. You understand the organizational dynamics and you have a proven track record within several of the classical disciplines in the P&O life cycle. You thrive with developing and improving P&O activities that are linked to the overall business purpose and you have extensive experience with what works in practice. You enjoy having the responsibility for both process and outcome and you know from experience that success depends on what you deliver to your stakeholders.

As a person, you have a strategic mindset, strong interpersonal skills and are curious, and known for building lasting relations with your stakeholders. You thrive in a working environment that is characterized by cross-disciplinary fora, an urge to constantly improve and a willingness to take on new challenges. Your good sense of humour and open mind enables you to contribute to a productive and collaborative atmosphere.


About the department
Novo Nordisk Quality is a global organization with more than 2,000 employees, where approximately half of them are anchored in a matrix organization with indirect reference to NNQ. NNQ is overall responsible for quality across all business areas at Novo Nordisk. NNQ supports the company’s corporate strategy to run business in a simple and agile way and is known for spearheading a successful journey of driving simplifications at a global level, whilst maintaining high quality performance.


You will report to the P&O Director in Novo Nordisk Quality and be a part of a highly engaged, experienced, and ambitious team of HR Business Partners. In the Partner role, you will work independently supporting the business, while sharing best practices and developing common agendas with your colleagues. We provide P&O solutions to the business based on strategic business needs and we implement initiatives from Global P&O and the newest insights within the field of Human Resources to make a real difference for the businesses we support.
