Then join us as an intern in Global Security, where you will get an opportunity to work alongside experienced colleagues focusing on protecting Novo Nordisk, its people, property and products against all forms of security threats.

As a Global Security intern, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of exciting tasks and assume a high degree of responsibility. You will support our senior management on strategic projects, global processes, and other ad hoc tasks related to managing the Global Security organization and its global stakeholders.

 

Your main responsibilities will include:

  1. Assisting with organizing the department, managing projects, and preparing updates for senior leadership – developing your project management toolkit.
  2. Getting involved in developing and maintaining our Crisis Management and Security database – making a tangible impact on organizational resilience.
  3. Collecting and summarizing key information for executives, sharpening your analytical and communication skills.
  4. Learning how to track and measure KPIs, gaining valuable insights into progress monitoring.
  5. Contributing to the redesign of the Global Security website, gaining hands-on experience in digital transformation and service deployment.
  6. Exploring and recommending improvements for collaboration tools (like MS Teams), making teamwork smarter and more effective.
  7. Support data reporting initiatives by managing the project management tool and optimizing data collection.

 

To support your growth, you will be paired with a manager, who will provide feedback on your work and help you maximize your learning journey.

 

Practical details:

  • Internship period: 6 months minimum (possibility to extend)
  • Working hours: Full-time, 37 hours a week
  • Start date: February 2026
  • Internships are remunerated (15.000 DKK), if your educational track allows
  • A Danish full-time work permit is required for non-EU citizens

  • The candidate must provide: grade transcript, CV, motivation letter
  • The candidate must be able to relocate to Denmark and obtain a CPR-number

Qualifications

You are ideally currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, or a combination of these.

We prefer if you already have general knowledge about project management and experience in engaging with different stakeholders. You should be comfortable with the MS Office package, and having a flair for security is considered an asset.

 

Furthermore, you:

  • Have good academic credentials
  • Have relevant work/extracurricular activities experience next to your studies
  • Have a strong analytical mindset and can combine qualitative and quantitative skills
  • Are organised, structured, and able to communicate clearly and concisely with different stakeholders
  • Take leadership naturally and have high professional expectations for yourself and your colleagues
  • Have strong work ethics and thrive in a busy work environment, bringing a “can-do” attitude
  • Are fluent in spoken and written English

 

About the Function 

Global Legal, Intellectual Property & Security is located in the Head Quarter of Novo Nordisk in Bagsværd, Denmark. We are responsible for advising and supporting the business on various legal matters and drive strategic projects to the benefit of the function and our stakeholders.

 

Global Security sits within Global Legal, Intellectual Property and Security. Our mission is to protect the company, its people, property and products against all forms of security threats (with the exception of cyber-related ones). In order to achieve this, we set a proportionate, risk-based and intelligence-led security framework, designed by our Central subject matter experts and deployed across the various lines of business with the advice from our Regional Security Advisors.
