The position
This position is a unique opportunity to step into a newly established role as Project Manager in GPOS business support. You will work as a project manager on global and regional GPOS projects and M&A activities. You will report to the Manager of GPOS Business Support, and you will be guaranteed to have workdays full of interaction with colleagues both in GPOS and more broadly in People & Organisation.

Your key areas of responsibility will be:

  • Develop and maintain the GPOS M&A Playbook, creating a standardized approach for M&A integration activities across regions.
  • Act as Project Manager for GPOS M&A activities, collaborating closely with stakeholders globally to ensure successful and timely integration.
  • Drive strategic & global projects across GPOS

Frequent interaction and engagement with stakeholders across the organisation as well as with external partners, will allow you to build a strong network while driving project management activities.


Qualifications
As our ideal candidate, you have 3+ years’ of Project Management experience and a proven track record of delivering results and leading projects preferably in a global environment. You would be proficient in project planning and execution, with a proven ability to manage complex and global projects, and alongside this great stakeholder and communication skills.

Additionally, we look for candidates with:

  • An academic degree in Business, Project Management, or equivalent qualifications.
  • Experience within P&O and M&A would be beneficial.  
  • Experience within the pharmaceutical industry would be beneficial.
  • Experience with HR systems (preferred Success Factors, SAP, Pay-roll) and understanding/experience & Knowledge on GDPR would be beneficial.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.

 

As a person you are proactive and possess great collaboration and stakeholder management skills. You demonstrate flexibility towards your stakeholders and colleagues as you will be working in a global working environment.

 

About the department
You will be part of a relatively newly established business support function in GPOS that own and drive M&A activities for GPOS. Furthermore, this department drive local & global projects across GPOS to drive innovation, efficiencies & better customer experience.

There are approximately 400 people working in GPOS – they all serve the purpose of efficiently managing day-to-day P&O tasks, processes, and transactions in Novo Nordisk. GPOS supports 30 countries, in 10 languages and operates from 11 locations.
