Bagsværd, Capital Region of Denmark, DK
Would you like to play a key role in shaping the future of assembly process standardization at Novo Nordisk? Join our global team as an Operational Process Lead and be part of a pioneering initiative to establish and maintain global standards across our production sites.
The Position
As the Global Operational Process Lead for Assembly, you will be at the forefront of driving process standardization across our Finished Products (FP) manufacturing network. This is a strategic role where you will act as the voice of operations, bridging the gap between shopfloor insights and strategic project implementation.
You will collaborate closely with stakeholders at both local and global levels, working with the Assembly Process Manager and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process optimization and ensure consistent application of assembly standards across our global sites.
The position provides an opportunity to be part of a global function where you can work from any Novo Nordisk site, it could be a Danish site but also an international site.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Driving the implementation of standard processes across all assembly lines, ensuring alignment and consistency globally.
- Acting as a liaison between production sites and process groups, translating strategic initiatives into actionable plans at the shopfloor level.
- Analyzing current processes to identify inefficiencies, risks, and areas for improvement, and developing mitigation strategies.
- Collaborating with the Assembly Process Manager and other stakeholders to support continuous process improvement initiatives.
- Engaging with stakeholders across the FP network, particularly those at key sites such as Clayton (US), Chartres (France) and Hillerød (Denmark), to foster alignment and build strong working relationships.
- Leading and coordinating the roll-out of upgrades and new assembly standards to maintain global consistency.
- Travel to other production sites in Europe, North America, and Asia will be required to ensure alignment and maintain close connections with local teams.
Qualifications
We expect the ideal candidate will have:
- A MSc or equivalent in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience within manufacturing, with at least some experience in GxP-regulated assembly processes.
- Proven track record in project management within a global stakeholder landscape.
- Experience in leadership or indirect leadership roles within production settings.
- Demonstrated ability to drive standardization initiatives across multiple sites.
- Experience working in a GxP-regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in English at a professional level.
On a personal note, you are a proactive and ambitious leader who thrives in fast-paced environments. You possess strong stakeholder management and networking skills and have a keen interest in shaping and establishing new functions within a global organization.
