The position
In this position you will interact with top management within Novo Nordisk, including members of Executive Management, SVPs, CVPs, VPs, managers in HQ and members of the global communicators network. You will also engage with various functions within Novo Nordisk. Key external relationships include journalists, government officials and agencies.
Your main tasks will include:
- Handling of incoming media enquiries from Danish and International media
- Advising Novo Nordisk spokespeople on communication strategy, key messages and delivery in connection with media appearances
- Coordination and ownership of various communication themes
- Media training of Novo Nordisk spokespeople and facilitate interviews and other media events
- Driving communications projects in close collaboration with other departments
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, the ideal person will have:
- A Journalist and/or a relevant university degree, e.g. political science or communication
- Public relations/media relations or strategic communication is preferred, as well as experience within the pharmaceutical industry
- Ample experience working either as a journalist or from a communication job in an agency, company or large-scale organisation
- A strategic and analytical mindset
- Fluency in both written and verbal English

About the department
The HQ Global Media team is part of the wider Global Media & Stakeholder Communication team. The whole department of Global Communication is based at Novo Nordisk in Bagsværd, Denmark. In addition to Global Media & Stakeholder Communication, Global Communication has over 60 people working on Reputation and corporate Brand, Content and Digital and Executive and Employee Communication.
