Let’s talk about the role
As a Global IT Support Specialist – Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A), you will undertake the following critical responsibilities to facilitate successful IT integration during corporate transitions:
- Collaborate closely with DD&IT (Digital, Data & IT) M&A project teams and newly acquired organisations, providing IT insights and support throughout the transaction lifecycle while advising on IT standards, procedures, and best practices
- Manage the contingent workforce by collecting project team requirements and negotiating with regular suppliers for necessary temporary staffing
- Gather and analyse requirements from stakeholders to design effective IT solutions that support the integration process, acting as a consultant in deploying Global Service Desk solutions and exploring synergies such as language compatibility
- Collaborate with the IT Operations team to ensure adherence to IT standards
- Facilitate collaboration with other GITO (Global IT Operations) product areas
In addition to these responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to take part in developing IT strategies for mergers, creating strategic plans to optimise IT resources, support business objectives post-merger, and ensure alignment with broader business goals for enhanced operational efficiency. Candidate profile
To thrive in this position, we imagine you meet most of the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
- Extensive experience in global service desk operations (focusing on governance) within Novo Nordisk or similar organisations in pharmaceutical industry
- Proven track record in digital transformation projects and IT strategy development
- Demonstrated experience in mergers and acquisitions within the IT sector and readiness to handle the strategic and operational aspects of IT integration
- Proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships across diverse international setups

You will be joining Global IT Support Product Area which is anchored within the DD&IT organisation and has employees based in different countries across the world. In DD&IT, we work Agile, and in the GITS Product Area, we have four products and eight regional teams. The products cover End User Support Experience, Service Operation Excellence, Regional IT Services and GITS M&A. You will be part of a continued journey to deploy and improve the Agile organisation and competencies.
