The position
As the Global Health Equity Lead for Access & Affordability, you will:

  • Represent health equity objectives in Development through the Sustainability Blueprint.
  • Act as the GHE lead for vulnerable patient reporting in collaboration with a matrix team.
  • Support the ESG team with subject-matter expertise for external social indices.
  • Establish and maintain an overall GHE access & affordability project tracker.

 

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A master's degree in business, public health, health policy, social sciences, data science, project management or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial, project management, health equity, public health, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across a complex matrix.
  • Experience in impact measurement, target setting, and reporting.
  • Data-driven project management execution across multiple priorities.
  • Proven ability to bring structure to complex tasks.

 

About the department
Global Public Affairs & Sustainability (GPAS) department is a dynamic global team focusing on Global Health Equity, Corporate Environmental Strategy, Global Public Affairs and Patient Relations, and ESG Strategy & Intelligence.

The Global Health Equity team is dedicated to Novo Nordisk’s social responsibility strategy, aiming to improve access and affordability for vulnerable patients with diabetes or other serious chronic diseases such as obesity. We collaborate with patient organisations, NGOs, and other partners to tackle health equity challenges in low-resource settings worldwide. The department comprises a Global Diabetes Health Equity team, a Global Obesity Health team, and an Advocacy and Strategic Partnerships team.
