Are you our new Global Head of Digital Health Partnerships in Novo Nordisk?

Novo Nordisk Executive Management have decided to increase our ambitions in Digital Health partnering and therefore we are now establishing a dedicated area for Digital Health partnerships.

We are now looking for a new Global Head of Digital Health Partnerships to lead the area and become a part of the Digital Health management team.


The Job

In this role you will be responsible for our 30+ partnerships with global, regional and local partners primarily within diabetes management.  You will head up a team with seven direct reports of highly skilled and experienced partner leads that takes care of the alliance management on a day-to-day basis. In addition, you will have 5+ indirect reports across different functional areas dedicated to support the partnership efforts.

As the Head of Digital Health Partnerships, you will represent our partners’ interest across the Novo Nordisk organisation, set the strategic direction for the expansion of the efforts with existing and new partners and represent Novo Nordisk Digital Health partnering externally.

The role will report to the Senior Global Director of Digital Health Partnerships and Strategy.



We are looking for a person that is passionate about Digital Health, with a track record in partnering and leadership experience and with a proven ability of building followership.

We have no formal requirements for the role, but typical candidates for this role would have:

  • a Masters’ degree in Business, Finance, Science or Engineering,
  • 10+ years of experience within Digital Health and/or business development often within the pharmaceutical or medtech industry

About the department

Digital Health is part of the Commercial Business Development area and we ensure that patients are provided with the best possible benefits from Novo Nordisk products through Patient Insights, Digital Health solutions, Patient Support Solutions and other initiatives.

In Digital Health, we drive and anchor the global Digital Health strategy as well as our commercial partnership strategy. We own and shape the commercial development of Digital Health solutions, both internally and through partners, based on smart insulin pens, Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) / Blood Glucose Monitoring (BGM) devices and other wearables. We define go to market strategies for such solutions and the real-world data strategy for data collected through digital health solutions and generally function as the centre of excellence globally for Digital Health.
