The Position

As Global Forecasting Lead, you will be responsible for long-term forecasting and market insight generation within Finance in HQ. You will partner across the organisation to translate market dynamics into an actionable long-term portfolio outlook. You will be involved in cross-functional projects, communicating key insights and analyses to relevant stakeholders across the organisation to support strategic decision-making.

 

Key responsibilities will be to:

  • Lead the Long-Term Forecast for the Novo Nordisk portfolio on a regional and/or global level, ensuring robust long-term forecasting and market insight generation
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across the value chain to develop and refine the forecast, including partners in Portfolio & Corporate Strategy, Sales Regions, and Global Manufacturing & Supply.
  • Lead the preparation of the Long-Term Forecast towards Senior Management, clearly articulating key market dynamics and the implications for the business.
  • Drive and continuously optimise forecasting processes to strengthen analytical quality, decision relevance, and strategic outlook.

 

 

Qualifications

  • Master´s degree in a relevant field such as Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, among others.
  • 7+ years’ experience within the pharmaceutical or relevant adjacent industry and/or consultancy for these companies.
  • Proven track record in analytics and the ability to turn strategy into outlook.
  • Strong stakeholder management, including the ability to drive decision-making with senior stakeholders.
  • Solid presentation skills, and the ability to present complex matters in a simple way.

In NN Forecasting we provide Novo Nordisk with a robust long-term outlook grounded in clear market insights. We translate evolving pharma market dynamics into a Long-Term Forecast that supports leadership in making data-driven strategic decisions.

 

NN Forecasting is part of Business Finance, which sits within Finance, Legal & Global Solutions. We enable Novo Nordisk to fulfil its purpose by safeguarding the business, providing corporate infrastructure, and driving value creation. We are a team of 2,300 colleagues, primarily based at our headquarters in Denmark and our Global Business Services centres in India and Mexico.

Salary:  For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 742,600.00 to 1,091,600.00 DKK, corresponding to the level of the position.

The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.
