Are you ready to take on the challenge of developing the future standards of AMSAT QC especially on Data & Forecast in Novo Nordisk? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Forecast and Capacity Partner specializing in QC flows to spearhead planning aspects and term-based operational coordination with relevant parties.

The Position

As a Forecast & Capacity Partner for AMSAT QC OE, you will play an essential role in successfully implementing our mid-term forecast (3 months to 2 years) to the all-relevant stakeholders, especially during high-demand periods, and will also share capacity responsibilities with the rest of the Forecast group.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the operational aspects of forecast and capacity within a big stakeholder landscape, ensuring they align with objectives and requirements. Your responsibility will be to drive the mid-term forecast deliverables, while supporting the overall capacity goals, delivering an optimum solution in a time frame that challenges the traditional approach. 

Your main tasks will include:

  • Implementing and optimizing the mid-term forecasting process , ensuring accuracy and transparency in forecasts from over 100 stakeholders.
  • Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., Logistics, Production, AMSAT QC Planners) to gather insights and align on forecasting needs and deliverables.
  • Monitoring capacity against forecasted needs , identifying potential bottlenecks, and proposing mitigation strategies to ensure smooth operations.
  • Enhancing forecasting accuracy by analyzing past data, improving forecasting methodologies, and applying best practices across the organization.
  • Fostering strong relationships with stakeholders , advocating for best practices in forecasting and capacity planning to ensure alignment and support business objectives.

 

While supporting the overall program in reaching major milestones, you will have your own facilitation tasks and responsibility that you will be driving to completion with your chief resources.

To be considered for this position, you should have:

  • You have a bachelor’s degree within engineering/ natural science, and a minimum of 3 years’ working experience (preferably in pharma sector and/or QC). In case of limited QC experience: you have a keen interest and curiosity to develop these skills.
  • You are a generalist with a strong talent for coordination, communication and facilitation and loves to keep things running smoothly, timely and in good order in a highly dynamic QC operation.
  • You enjoy being the point of contact, and a good day for you is when you have collaborated closely with several colleagues to resolve any type of issues to keep our QC labs in good position.
  • You have a natural flair for IT/ flow systems and works structured with keeping things structured, well-communicated and compliant, and you know how the details contribute and support the bigger picture.
  • You are good at reading data and interpreting quickly to transfer understandings into flows.

 

On a personal level, you thrive in a dynamic environment with a strong quality mindset. You are a proven self-starter with drive, energy and able to manage and prioritize challenging multiple tasks.

 

About the department

You will be joining our highly motivated department, consisting of committed professionals and managers. Our primary task is to develop sustainable operational excellence flow to support 7 QC Labs in Denmark which will lead us to reach out our OneQC target.

As a member of the Data & Forecast team, you will play a crucial role in supporting QC Labs in various locations and ensuring their stable operation.
