Your new role

As Finance Partner in Group Reporting & Insights, you’ll collaborate closely with Executive Management and the Board of Directors to turn complex financial information and data into clear, actionable insights that inform strategic decisions affecting millions of patients worldwide. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Driving financial processes such as quarterly reporting towards Executive Management and Board of Directors
  • Providing financial analysis to Senior Management and creating the financial basis for strategic decision-making
  • Guiding and coordinating cross-organisational input to financial forecasts including scenario analysis and resource allocation implications
  • Driving continuous improvement and optimisation of financial processes to ensure transparency and sound decision-making
  • Interacting closely with stakeholders across the organisation to gain insights into Novo Nordisk's strategic priorities

 

Your new department

In Finance, Legal & Global Solutions, we enable Novo Nordisk to fulfil our purpose by safeguarding the business, providing corporate infrastructure, and driving value creation. We are a team of ~2000 colleagues primarily based at our headquarters in Denmark and our Global Business Services centres in India and Mexico.

 

The Group Reporting & Insights team is responsible for Novo Nordisk’s strategic financial management, providing advanced financial and strategic analysis to support Executive Management, the CFO, and the SVP of Business Finance. The team also drives corporate financial processes, including monthly management reporting, forecasting, and quarterly closing, and delivers materials for Executive Management and the Board of Directors.

Your skills & qualifications

We're looking for someone with an analytical mind and strong communication skills who focuses on details while also keeping the broader perspective and overall purpose in mind. You'll bring:

  • A master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or similar
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in financial management, business partnering or similar roles
  • Excellent communication skills, enabling you to communicate clearly and precisely with people at all levels in the organisation
  • A curious and proactive approach to work, combined with strong collaboration skills
  • A flair for details and genuine interest in learning and understanding the business behind the numbers
  • Professional fluency in English
