The Position
As a Finance Partner in Chemistry, Manufacturing & Control & Product Supply (CMC&PS) Business Finance, you will play an important role in driving the financial planning processes, consolidating budgets, and reporting on financial performance. You will be in charge of keeping Senior Management informed through regular updates, fixed deliverables, and insightful ad-hoc analyses.
In this position, you will engage frequently with stakeholders across the organization, enabling you to build a robust network while actively contributing to global production site initiatives. This role offers a steep learning curve, allowing you to expand your financial toolbox and influence key activities and projects.
Your tasks include:
- Delivering timely monthly and quarterly financial reports to senior management.
- Leading comprehensive financial planning processes.
- Analysing and consolidating budget figures for clear financial visibility.
- Partnering with central CVP areas on budgeting, reporting, and financial control.
- Conducting ad-hoc analyses to provide strategic financial insights for decision-making.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance and strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
To be considered for the position, you should possess:
- A master’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, business administration, or a related field, along with 1-2 years of relevant experience in business finance, accounting, or strategy consulting.
- A solid understanding of financial processes and practices.
- An analytical mindset with great attention to detail.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Solid skills in PowerPoint and Excel for presenting data and insights; familiarity with SAP and BI tools (Tableau, PowerBI, etc.) is a plus.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, tackling ambiguous situations with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
- Fluency in spoken and written English, as it is our corporate language.

About The Department
CMC&PS is the largest organisational unit in Novo Nordisk with more than 25,000 employees globally across five continents. The area is responsible for the full supply chain of all Novo Nordisk products and the quality assurance of all Novo Nordisk activities.
You will be part of the Business Finance team residing in the CMC&PS Finance department. The department consists of around 40 people from ~15 countries with diverse backgrounds. Located in our Bagsværd headquarters, while relocating to Høje Taastrup in Q4 2025, the department acts as a centre of excellence in financial planning, production accounting, investments, and compliance for Novo Nordisk globally. The team is characterised by openness, dedication, a strong focus on well-being and highly engaged colleagues who work dedicated towards helping Novo Nordisk change lives for the benefit of our patients worldwide.
