Your new role
This is finance with impact. You'll partner with senior management on the S/4HANA Programme, providing financial insights and strategic sparring that drive critical decisions across our digital transformation journey.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Acting as finance partner to the senior management team of the S/4 HANA Programme, providing financial recommendations to both financial and non-financial leaders
- Running the full financial planning process for the programme in line with Novo Nordisk standards, ensuring timely and transparent financial management across a complex network of interconnected projects
- Developing and delivering financial reporting to senior management, creating insights that support strategic decision-making
- Driving business cases and providing financial sparring to the global line of business
- Collaborating closely with the SAP S/4HANA project management office (PMO) and the Director of the PMO on financial transparency and programme oversight
- Participating in cross-functional projects focused on improving data management and process optimisation across the value chain

In Finance, Legal & Global Solutions, we enable Novo Nordisk to fulfil our purpose by safeguarding the business, providing corporate infrastructure, and driving value creation. We are a team of 2,300 colleagues primarily based at our headquarters in Denmark and our Global Business Services centres in India and Mexico.
You'll join Digital Finance and Architecture, part of Novo Nordisk Finance and Operations, where we're responsible for financial reporting, compliance and driving digital transformation. You'll be part of a young and ambitious team in Denmark, collaborating with colleagues across Finance, IT and business within the PMO of the SAP S/4 HANA programme. Our ambition is to leverage new technology by designing and implementing scalable enterprise solutions that simplify processes and create better transparency of our data. We invest significant resources in developing our employees through close sparring, frequent feedback, challenging tasks and a high degree of responsibility.
Your skills & qualifications
We're looking for a Finance Analyst who thrives in a dynamic environment where your insights directly influence major strategic decisions. You'll bring:
- A Master's level degree in business or economics (preferred)
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience
- Strong analytical skills combined with the ability to maintain perspective on the overall purpose and bigger picture
- A structured approach to tasks with a passion for financial reporting
- Excellent writing and communication skills in English
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills, as you'll be working across organisational and geographical borders
As a person, you can effectively plan, prioritise, execute and follow up in a proactive and timely manner. You act with strong strategic and analytical skills, maintain a high degree of independence and quality mindset, and can keep your overview even under time pressure.
