About the department
Manufacturing Science & Transfers (MS&T) is an area with around 130 dedicated employees. We own the manufacturing standards across Aseptic Manufacturing (AM) in Novo Nordisk and are the subject matter experts within manufacturing science in AM. We set direction for the AM processes on how to balance Quality, Delivery and Cost. We Support our sites with DVs, critical cases, inspections, projects and with upskilling programs.

Aseptic Manufacturing produces high-quality products to fight diabetes and obesity worldwide. Manufacturing Science & Transfers (MS&T) is a dynamic department in AMSAT, supporting our global aseptic production sites and setting the direction for standards and production optimization globally. We have a strong focus on making a difference in close collaboration with the aseptic production sites, by implementing novel solutions based on data-driven decisions and in accordance with GMP regulations.

The position
We are seeking an experienced Filling Specialist to join our MS&T department to help setting the standards of tomorrow and ensure the implementation of new technology.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that Novo Nordisk is on the forefront with technology and newest knowledge within the filling processes by participating in external fora and conferences.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to the filling process across Novo Nordisk AM.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements that enhance productivity, quality, and GMP compliance, while complying with regulations and company policy and procedures.
  • Provide training and technical expertise to internally filling technology and sterile processing techniques.
  • Participate in internal and external audits and inspections related to isolator technology and sterile processing.
  • Participate in process groups.
  • Execute product transfer activities to ensure the successful transfer of manufacturing processes and technologies from development to production.

Qualifications
A thorough knowledge in filling lines using isolator technique combined with extensive experience within validation of products and processes is required, as well as:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Science, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology manufacturing with experience in isolator technology and sterile processing techniques.
  • Strong understanding of GMP regulations and experience working in a GMP environment.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Experience with process validation, qualification, and change control processes.
  • Knowledge of aseptic processing and cleanroom design and operation.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
