Experienced payroll supporter to Novo Nordisk Payroll - Maternity Cover

You will become part of a team in Novo Nordisk that; ensures salaries are correct and paid in due time and provides guidance to questions related to salary, vacation, maternity/paternity leaves and time. 
 
About the department
Payroll department is part of Corporate Accounting, a unit of Finance & Compliance at Novo Nordisk. We are 18 dedicated employees, who  are handling salaries  for approximately 18,000 employees at Novo Nordisk  A/S and companies in the group. 
We strive at ensuring correct salary paid in due time, and for answering all payroll related questions from our colleagues in Denmark in close cooperation with partners in Corporate Accounting,  People & Organisation and Global IT. 
You will have the opportunity to become part of an organisation with a strong focus on quality and digitalisation in Bagsværd.

 

The position
You will be responsible for your own payroll processes in close collaboration with your colleagues. You will handle cases and telephone calls from employees regarding their salary, pension, taxation, vacation and maternity/paternity leaves. We have app. 30.000 cases/calls a year. You, as well as all other employees in the department, will work dedicated on supporting our journey in optimization and digitalization of our processes, which play an important role in supporting the agility and simplicity strategy in Novo Nordisk. 
To further develop the team, it is vital you hold excellent interpersonal skills and are focused on securing a good collaboration with your colleagues, despite their differences in competences as well as personal profiles.
 
Qualifications

  • You have deep insight in and experience with handling several of the following payroll areas; vacation law, salary calculation, illness/maternity/paternity rules, mobility, company cars, tax and reimbursement and handling internal stakeholders including Executive management.
  • You are passionate about how to contribute to a high quality in all deliveries. 
  • You have strong IT skills 
  • You are proficient in MS Outlook, Excel and Word and experienced in SAP Payroll/HR, previous experience with ServiceNow is a plus, but not a requirement. 

 

We have many requests from Line of Business, and you need to be able to handle a large volume of tasks efficient and with a sound personal judgment to make wise decisions.
