The position 
As an experienced Scrum Master you will facilitate, coach, and support 1-2 tech product teams comprised of developers and engineers. These teams work with AI and ML (Machine Learning) use cases, platforms, and subcomponents, delivering data and ML services across the company and partnering with AI and domain experts across the organization. You’ll be working both independently and in close collaboration with the product team members, Product Owners, users and stakeholders, as well as other Scrum Masters and People Leaders.  

 

You will get the opportunity to:

  • Facilitate all Scrum events  (i.e., sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews and retrospectives) 
  • Work proactively with the Product Owner to ensure that team events fulfil their purpose, and that the team delivers on commitments and maintains true product and user-focus 
  • Identify and help to remove barriers that impact team success (i.e., velocity, user-focus, intra- and inter-dependencies) 
  • Use coaching and servant leadership skills to cultivate strong relationships within and across teams and encourage a learning culture 
  • Work on continuously improve the team's ways of working and user-focus. 
  • Work closely with people leaders to ensure the ongoing development and growth of our talented people and collaborate with other scrum masters in the area to organize cross-organizational events. 

 

The position is based in Ørestaed, Denmark in a flexible working environment. 
 
Qualifications and skills  
We’re looking for a Scrum Master that is skilled in cultivating healthy, high performing teams, where empowerment and collaboration are part of everyday behaviour.  
 
Your key trades include, but are not limited to the following experiences:

  • Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, business administration, or other relevant fields 
  • 3-5 years of experience in working in agile and tech-heavy software products, accompanied ideally with a relevant scrum certification 
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and coaching skills, used across multiple locations and cultures 
  • Experience with design thinking as well as interest in or experience in product strategy/opportunity mapping, etc. 
  • Fluent spoken and written English 

 
Potentially you also have:

  • Experience with cloud computing, AI or/and MLOps  
  • Experience with using Azure DevOps  
  • Start-up or any high-paced, user-focused tech product experience  
  • Experience working in the life sciences industry, or another regulated industry

You support team happiness and growth through empathy, coaching, and feedback, while also addressing conflicts openly and productively. You manage high workloads, keeping the team motivated and aligned. Building strong relationships with the team, Product Owners, and stakeholders is crucial for effective collaboration. Furthermore, you contribute to advancing agile maturity and promoting agile practices throughout the organization.
