You will be involved from early project phases through qualification and handover, ensuring that environmental monitoring is integrated into project planning, timelines and decision-making. Your work will directly support successful project delivery, regulatory readiness and safe API production for clinical trials.

Your key responsibilities will include:

We are looking for a structured and proactive professional who thrives in a project environment and enjoys taking ownership across interfaces. To succeed in this role, you have:

  • A scientific or engineering background, such as an MSc (cand.scient.) or engineering degree
  • Knowledge of Environmental Monitoring and classified areas as well as qualification of these
  • Strong planning skills and the ability to balance multiple project tasks in parallel
  • A structured approach to documentation and regulatory compliance
  • Confidence working with many stakeholders and contributing actively in project teams

You will join CMC Pilots Engineering, part of CMC Pilots within the CMC Development organisation. CMC Development's role in Novo Nordisk's value chain is to turn molecules into approved products in close cooperation with our colleagues in Research & Development and Global Manufacturing & Supply.

CMC Pilots supports the production of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) for clinical trials and plays a critical role in enabling early‑stage development projects.

The Engineering Project department consists of more than 80 colleagues and is responsible for delivering complex investment and facility projects that expand and modernise pilot capacity. The department works in a highly collaborative, project-driven environment where engineering, quality and science are closely connected. Your contribution will directly support successful project outcomes and long-term facility performance.
