Drive the systems that help deliver medicine to millions

Bring your experience in OT, automation, or production IT into a role where engineering, compliance, and digital production meet. As Engineering Responsible (ER) for Serialisation, you will support end-to-end project delivery, collaborate with skilled technical experts, and help ensure stable, secure, and compliant systems across Novo Nordisk’s production environments globally.

If you are ready to drive validation activities across global OT projects supporting our production facilities, we would love to hear from you. Apply now and help shape reliable, compliant, and future-ready production systems at Novo Nordisk.

Your new role

As an ER, you will take a hands-on ownership in delivering Serialisation across the full project lifecycle. You will join a central DevOps organisation and work closely with colleagues at our production sites, other central ER colleagues, and technical experts. You will be based in Bagsværd/DK but primarily work with global productions sites remotely.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Support and drive deployment activities of central serialisation solutions on packaging lines, including testing, validation, and handover.
  • Apply Good Engineering Practice (GEP) and ensure compliance with GMP/GxP standards.
  • Deliver robust serialisation solutions that support stable, compliant, and future-ready production systems.
  • Act as technical contributor and support overall project delivery.
  • Collaborate with central QA, Project managers, vendors, and technical experts to align expectations, requirements, and ensure quality deliveries.
  • Coordinate vendor activities and support high-quality, timely project deliveries
  • Contribute to root cause analysis for incidents and act as a subject matter expert (SME)

You will succeed in this role if you enjoy working close to production, take ownership of technical validation deliveries, and thrive in close collaboration with QA, vendors, technical experts, and production sites to deliver stable and compliant serialisation solutions.

The ideal candidate should have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, IT, or similar. You also bring:

  • +4-5 years of experience with OT, automation, or production IT systems
  • Good understanding of regulated environments (GxP)
  • Experience with serialisation systems is an advantage. We work with SAP ATTP and a Level 2 OT Track & Trace system, but experience with other global serialisation solutions is also highly relevant.
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder skills, and experience working with production and validation activities.

Furthermore, you are eager to learn and grow within engineering and project delivery, able to work independently while proactively seeking the information needed to find the right solutions, and you communicate excellently in English, both written and verbally.
