Here is your opportunity to join the newly formed Corporate Affairs function and help shape communication for Finance, Legal and Global Solutions (FLGS) at Novo Nordisk.
The position
In this role, you will serve as a senior advisor on financial and executive communication with a focus on supporting the CFO. Working closely with key colleagues across the global organization, you will develop and execute strategic communication activities, engage stakeholders across global functions, and partner with C‑suite leaders at Novo Nordisk.
Main task will include
- Develop and deliver financial and executive communication activities and key messaging, with primary focus on CFO support
- Manage internal FLGS communication activities, as well as external initiatives that support the CFO, collaborating with relevant functions and communication colleagues across Novo Nordisk
- Manage global communication activities to engage employees in FLGS around company strategy and purpose
- Create content for internal channels and company meetings as well as for external when relevant in close collaboration with the Executive and Employee communications team
- Collaborate with Investor Relations and Global Media Team on key activities
Your skills & qualifications
- Native/fluent in verbal and written English
- A relevant academic degree in communications or similar
- Solid business understanding and +10 years’ experience within strategic communication from an agency, company, or large organization
- A proven track record of advising senior and top management, preferably also experience from the pharmaceutical industry
- Demonstrated experience in strategic foresight and scenario planning to anticipate risks and opportunities and translate them into proactive communication plans
- Ability to combine strategic insight with tactical execution – with an eye to detail
- Strong strategic and analytical skills
- Tech-savvy, understanding and leveraging opportunities in digital communication
- Strong interpersonal skills enabling you to engage and interact with a range of diverse audiences on a global level
