As Head of E&C Business Partnering, you will influence enterprise risk, guide senior leaders, and position integrity as a competitive advantage across Novo Nordisk’s most critical business areas.
Your new role
As Head of E&C Business Partnering, you will operate at the heart of strategic decision-making, ensuring that Ethics & Compliance is fully embedded in key business processes and risk management across the organisation. In this role, you will also lead and develop a team of 9 professionals, ensuring strong performance, clear direction, and a globally recognised positioning of the function. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading E&C business partnering and driving enterprise-level risk-based decision-making across key corporate functions
- Acting as the global subject matter expert on commercial E&C requirements, advising senior stakeholders and shaping compliance frameworks
- Monitoring global legislation and industry trends, assessing impact, and influencing external compliance landscapes
- Supporting senior leadership, including contributions to Audit Committee materials and enterprise risk reporting
- Driving the implementation of the Global E&C Strategy and Programme while ensuring alignment across BECO units
Your new department
You will join Business Ethics Compliance Office (BECO) within Business Assurance & Compliance, where we safeguard Novo Nordisk’s integrity and support sustainable business growth. Further, you will be part of BECO’s Management Team.
Our function plays a critical role in enabling the business to operate responsibly by managing compliance risks while supporting innovation and commercial excellence. You will collaborate closely with senior stakeholders across Product & Portfolio Strategy, Corporate Procurement, Corporate Development, and the CEO Office, Sustainability & Strategy, as well as global compliance functions and Group Internal Audit.
Your skills and qualifications
We are looking for a senior leader with a strong track record in Ethics & Compliance within a global pharmaceutical or similar highly regulated environment - Someone who can combine deep expertise with strong business acumen and influence at executive level. We are looking for someone who can bring:
- A Master’s degree in law, finance, economics or equivalent, combined with extensive leadership experience in E&C
- Proven expertise in commercial compliance, risk management, and advising senior stakeholders in global organisations
- Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing and developing senior professionals
- Demonstrated success in driving strategic initiatives, change management, and cross-functional collaboration
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to translate complexity into clear and actionable insights

Salary: For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 940,800.00 to 1,448,700.00 DKK, corresponding to the level of the position.
The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.
Incentives and Benefits: The salary package may include short-term and/or long-term incentives as well as other employee benefits based on position level, location, functional area and relevant market benchmarks.
