Step into a global role at the intersection of Supply Chain, Finance and IT, where you will lead and shape our Order to Cash (O2C) agenda during a critical transformation period. This is your opportunity to maintain momentum on strategic initiatives while ensuring operational excellence across our global O2C landscape.

Your new role

We are looking for an experienced Order to Cash (O2C) leader to join Novo Nordisk on a fixed-term parental leave cover (10-12 months) to maintain momentum on our O2C transformation and run the day-to-day leadership of our Global Order to Cash team. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a visible role that sits at the intersection of Supply Chain, Finance and IT, enabling core business and system value, by supporting Novo Nordisk through our SAP journey.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the Global O2C organisation during maternity cover, with direct leadership of 4 high performing project managers and indirect leadership across the O2C GPO community in IT and GBS.
  • Act as Global Process Owner for Order to Cash, ensuring end‑to‑end process integrity, standardisation, governance and performance.
  • Own and drive the O2C project and initiative portfolio, securing progress, prioritisation, and value delivery across key transformations.
  • Provide governance, prioritisation and oversight for local-to-global process standardisation and system utilisation improvements.
  • Maintain and advance delivery of the O2C Strategy 2026 including functional benchmarking, end-to-end process definition and KPI monitoring.
  • Manage senior stakeholders in HQ, regions, affiliates across market access, supply chain and finance to ensure alignment and adoption.
  • Provide clear governance, reporting, and decision-making on O2C priorities and risks.
  • Ensure sustainable solutions through strong documentation, training, and handover structures.

Your new department

You will join Digital Finance & Architecture, a centre of excellence committed to enabling coherent, data‑driven, and future‑ready financial processes across Novo Nordisk. Our ambition is to simplify, standardise and innovate across Finance, Legal & Global Solutions—an organisation focused on safeguarding the business and enabling value creation worldwide.

Within this environment, the Global O2C team brings together experts across HQ, regions, affiliates, IT and GBS. You will lead a dedicated group of 4–5 colleagues, supported by a wider virtual community driving execution of the global O2C roadmap.

Your skills and qualifications

To be successful in this role, you bring a strong combination of leadership capability, process expertise and change execution skills. We expect you to have:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience working across Finance and Supply Chain, with deep knowledge of Order to Cash processes (Order and Customer Fulfilment, Billing and Revenue Management, and Credit, Collections & Cash Application). Experience at affiliate or consolidation level is preferred.
  • Proven managerial experience with a track record in people development and leading high-performing teams, direct and indirect.
  • Solid understanding of SAP and end-to-end business process flows, and experience with ERP transformation initiatives (S/4 HANA is a plus).
  • Experience working in a global, matrix organisation with strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to drive collaboration for impact.
  • Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken), cultural awareness and the ability to simplify complex topics.
