Director, AI & Workforce Transformation
Bagsværd, Capital Region of Denmark, DK
People, Organisation & Corporate Affairs (POCA)
Bagsværd, Denmark
Shape how a global healthcare company works in the age of AI. This is your opportunity to translate enterprise AI ambition into real workforce impact – redesigning how 60,000+ colleagues experience their working lives, while helping Novo Nordisk reach more patients than ever before.
Your new role
As Director, AI & Workforce Transformation, you will be accountable for driving the POCA AI agenda and translating enterprise AI ambition into scalable workforce impact. You will help shape the transition towards an AI‑native workforce and organisation where humans and AI agents collaborate seamlessly to deliver better outcomes.
You will lead AI-driven transformation by identifying, prioritising and scaling high-value initiatives, while redesigning processes, workflows, roles and decision points for AI-native ways of working. A key part of your role is to establish one integrated AI roadmap across workforce processes and core enterprise platforms (e.g. ServiceNow, SuccessFactors) together with Enterprise IT – ensuring AI is embedded into how work is done, not layered on top of existing processes.
Your responsibilities will include:
-
Leading and developing the POCA AI portfolio, ensuring clear prioritisation, momentum and disciplined execution of high-value initiatives that improve employee experience, productivity and decision quality
-
Driving AI-enabled redesign of processes, workflows and decision points in alignment with the Global POCA Process Design framework, in close partnership with the Director for Digital Delivery, Processes & Change.
-
Define and deliver an integrated AI roadmap across workforce processes, ServiceNow, SuccessFactors, and other core platforms in partnership with Enterprise IT and Enterprise AI, ensuring one aligned direction and avoiding fragmented solutions.
-
Embedding AI into core workflows, roles and decision-making so that AI becomes part of the operating model, while owning the lifecycle of AI solutions from ideation through scaling, optimisation and retirement of legacy ways of working.
-
Establishing governance, controls and accountability for AI initiatives – including value tracking, ethics, compliance and privacy – within enterprise AI frameworks
-
Build AI fluency, capability, trust, and adoption across leaders and employees, while ensuring measurable workforce and business value is realised from AI investments.
Your new department
In People, Organisation & Corporate Affairs, you will be part of a team that enhances employee engagement and attracts top talent to ensure Novo Nordisk remains a premier choice for exceptional individuals. Together, we foster an inclusive workplace culture that empowers individuals to thrive and supports our mission to make a positive impact on people's lives.
You will sit within Global P&O Services & Workforce Enablement, reporting into the Associate VP Digital Solutions, Processes & AI. This is a newly shaped area at the intersection of people, technology and transformation – where we are reimagining how work gets done for tens of thousands of colleagues globally. You will work closely with POCA LT, Enterprise IT, Enterprise AI, Workforce Intelligence and Centres of Excellence to bring the enterprise AI ambition to life across the employee lifecycle.
Your skills & qualifications
We are looking for a strategic leader who combines deep expertise in AI-enabled transformation with the ability to deliver results at pace across a complex, global organisation. To succeed in this role, we expect you to bring:
-
A Master's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Digital Transformation, Technology or a related field
-
Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in HR, digital transformation, operating model transformation or a closely related field, including leadership roles, with proven expertise in developing and implementing digital and AI strategies for P&O / HR functions
-
A track record of leading AI-enabled transformation in complex organisations, scaling initiatives from concept to enterprise impact and leading portfolio prioritisation and value-driven delivery
-
Strong experience redesigning processes, workflows, roles and operating models, and leading change, adoption, reskilling and capability building at scale
-
Experience working with IT, data, security, privacy, legal, compliance and governance stakeholders, and establishing governance and collaboration models across business, digital and enterprise technology teams in global, matrixed environments
-
Excellent leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex topics into clear actions, build trust across senior stakeholders, and navigate ambiguity with sound judgement, integrity and high learning agility.
