Your new role

As Digital Lead in Corporate Procurement, you will play a central role in shaping and delivering digital and AI-driven initiatives that unlock value across the Source-to-Pay value chain. Working at the intersection of procurement expertise and advanced technology, you will collaborate with stakeholders across the business to translate opportunities into scalable, high-impact solutions.

You will be part of the Advanced Technology department and work closely with procurement leaders, category managers, engineers, data specialists and external partners. Together, you will drive digital transformation and ensure the successful adoption of AI-enabled solutions across the organisation.

In this role, you will:

• Lead and facilitate complex digital and AI initiatives from ideation to implementation, ensuring measurable business impact
• Partner with procurement and business leaders to identify opportunities and translate them into scalable solutions
• Drive cross-functional collaboration across Corporate Procurement, Enterprise IT, the AI Centre of Excellence and external partners
• Provide strategic guidance across initiatives, ensuring alignment between business priorities, data opportunities and technology capabilities
• Act as a trusted advisor by bridging technical, procurement and business perspectives to support decision-making and drive adoption

Your new department

Corporate Procurement manages Novo Nordisk’s global indirect spend of approximately 130 billion DKK and plays a key role in enabling enterprise priorities through strategic sourcing and supplier partnerships.

You will join the Advanced Technology team, a highly skilled group of data analysts, engineers, project managers and system experts dedicated to accelerating digital transformation across procurement. The team operates in a collaborative, high-performance environment where innovation, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement are key to success.

Your skills and qualifications

We are looking for a senior professional who brings both strong procurement expertise and a deep understanding of digital and AI capabilities, combined with the ability to lead complex initiatives in a global organisation.

You will ideally bring:

• A relevant academic background within economics, business administration, finance, engineering, supply chain management or similar
• 10+ years of experience in procurement, with a proven track record of leveraging analytics, automation and digital solutions to drive business impact
• Strong understanding of digital and AI technologies, with hands-on experience developing and scaling AI-enabled solutions in large organisations
• Experience driving adoption of digital solutions, including stakeholder engagement, change management and benefit realisation
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and engage both technical and non-technical audiences

Experience with generative AI, agentic AI, procurement platforms and Source-to-Pay tools will be considered an advantage.

You bring a structured, analytical mindset and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a clear strategic focus.

What we offer

Salary: For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 742,600 to 1,091,600 DKK, corresponding to the level of the position.

The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.

Incentives and Benefits: The salary package may include short-term and/or long-term incentives as well as other employee benefits based on position level, location, functional area and relevant market benchmarks.
