Your new role

As a Scientist in the API MSAT Stability team, you will become part of a highly specialised environment focused on ensuring the stability, quality, and compliance of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) across our diabetes, obesity, and rare disease portfolio.

Working closely with colleagues and stakeholders across the organisation, you will be responsible for stability studies that supports both current production and future product development. You will be responsible for multiple diabetes, obesity and Rare disease Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) together with your colleagues, where you will collaborate with various stakeholders and assess the necessity and evaluate the outcomes of stability studies. This dynamic role involves identifying the need for stability for life-cycle management products, new products transits from development to production, as well as integrating stability studies into the optimization of production processes.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Designing and managing stability studies, including preparation of protocols, reports, and regulatory documentation
• Analysing stability data, identifying trends, and providing scientific recommendations to support decision-making
• Supporting production and ensuring stability considerations are integrated into manufacturing activities
• Contributing to investigations, deviations, and regulatory submissions related to stability
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives and identifying opportunities to optimise processes

Your new department

In Global Manufacturing & Supply, we cover the full value chain from drug and device development to marketed Novo Nordisk products. We are more than 30,000 colleagues across the globe with the shared responsibility of scaling molecules, processes, devices, and products, dedicated to supplying life-saving medicines to the patients who need them most.

You will join the API MSAT Stability team, which is part of the MSAT Process Support department in Bagsværd. The department consists of approximately 120 employees across six teams and collaborates extensively with functions throughout Novo Nordisk. Within the stability team, you will work alongside laboratory technicians, scientists, and specialists.

Your skills and qualifications

We are looking for a scientifically driven professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and is motivated by solving complex challenges. You combine strong technical expertise with a proactive mindset and are comfortable navigating a broad stakeholder landscape.

To succeed in this role, you will ideally bring:

• An MSc degree or higher (for example a PhD) within Pharmacy, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or another relevant scientific discipline with expertise in stability
• Experience within the pharmaceutical industry and working in a GMP-regulated environment with min 5 years of relevant experience
• Previous experience with stability studies, stability data evaluation, or related scientific activities
• Strong communication skills and professional proficiency in English; Danish language skills are an advantage but not a requirement
• A continuous improvement mindset with the ability to identify opportunities, drive optimisation initiatives, and deliver results

Experience engaging with health authorities and contributing to regulatory documentation will be considered an advantage.

What we offer

Salary: For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 651,000 to 956,900 DKK, corresponding to the level of the position. The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.

Incentives and Benefits: The salary package may include short-term and/or long-term incentives as well as other employee benefits based on position level, location, functional area and relevant market benchmarks.
