The Position

As a Development Scientist, you will get a unique chance to work with amazing colleagues at the crossroad between development and cGMP manufacturing. You will work closely with scientists, technicians, production employees, project managers, and analytical laboratories.

 

The API MSAT Downstream Process Support Department provides support to all commercial downstream production such as optimization for current manufacturing processes, troubleshooting and transfer of new processes from development to production.

 

Your main focus will be on: 
•    Commercial API process optimization.
•    Providing support to production facilities.
•    Planning and evaluation of laboratory and/or pilot plant experiments.
•    Preparation of protocols and reports and maintenance of development documentation.

 

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you have:
•    A master’s degree or a PhD in chemical engineering, biotechnology, biochemistry or a similar field.
•    An interest and/or experience in manufacturing/production.
•    Full professional proficiency in written and spoken English, while proficiency in Danish is nice to have.

About the Department

API MSAT Downstream Process Support is a department with over 80 employees located in Bagsværd (where this position is located) and Gentofte. We have our own laboratories where you will plan and run the experiments needed for your process optimizations and process support. We strive to be a technical lighthouse that helps other departments and bring innovation to Novo Nordisk.
