Let’s talk about the role
As our Solution Architect you will play a pivotal role in defining- and leading P&O Data Hub in close collaboration with your colleagues and in alignment with People Analytics objectives. The role is anchored in our HR DD&IT Data Engineering & AI team and has a tight link to our overall architectural discipline.
Responsibilities in the role:
- Collaborate with the People & Organization department to comprehensively understand their data product requirements and align them with business objectives
- Design and architect scalable, high-performance data platforms that effectively support the development of Data Products tailored to specific business requirements
- Take the lead in the end-to-end architectural design of data solutions, covering data ingestion, processing, storage, and access layers, ensuring a robust and efficient infrastructure
- Work closely with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and Business Analysts to effectively translate business requirements into technically viable and efficient solutions, promoting seamless collaboration across teams
- Define and implement data governance and security frameworks to uphold the integrity and confidentiality of sensitive data assets, ensuring compliance and best practices are adhered to throughout the data lifecycle
Skills we look for
The ideal candidate has a strong desire for continuous learning and staying updated with emerging technologies; excellent problem-solving, and communication skills. Moreover, you have the following requirements:
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect with a focus on architecting data platforms and solutions, designing and implementing scalable data architectures, including data lakes, data warehouses, and data processing pipelines
- In-depth knowledge of data modelling, ETL processes, data governance, and security principles and proficiency in cloud-based data technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure) and related services.
- Proven experience with AWS S3, Snowflake products, Databricks products and medallion architecture
- Experience in the People & Organisation domain or HR analytics is a plus
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, TOGAF) are a plus
As a person you have excellent communication, with the ability to collaborate effectively with business and technical teams.
