If you're passionate about enhancing our understanding of greenfield apps and user experiences through data, we’d love to hear from you! We are looking for a rare talent—a “unicorn”—who can not only enable data through engineering but also derive insights through analysis and visualization. The Position
You will be part of a highly engaged development team focused on digitalization and data-driven decision-making. You will explore data, software, and technology while interacting with end-users on the production shop floor, aiming to serve more patients. Setting up effective data engineering for our applications is a complex task which is a first priority. However, here’s the exciting part: data only unlocks its true value when it’s visualized and acted upon! That’s why being technically savvy isn’t enough. We’re looking for someone who is also passionate about transforming data into actionable insights that drive real business value.
Your technical responsibilities will include:
- Working with the Microsoft Platform and Microsoft Azure, ensuring proficiency in cloud development and familiarity with Azure services for data processing and storage.
- Creating integrations with backends using REST/JSON-based APIs. Experience in data engineering with APIs is essential.
- Utilizing ETL tools to automate data pipelines, ensuring efficient and robust data flow from our applications to visualization tools.
- Preparing data reports primarily using Power BI, with potential contributions to Tableau and Alteryx. Familiarity with Power BI and Tableau is expected.
In this position, you will also support the applications with data analysis and reporting to identify trends and drive data-driven decision-making. You will engage constructively with colleagues and stakeholders to gather feedback, enabling you to offer even better data insights. Within the team, we experiment, test, fail, and learn continuously!
Qualifications
To succeed in this position, you will need:
- A degree in information technology, computer science, data science, or a related discipline.
- Previous experience in a data engineering role or a similar position.
- Proficiency in SQL.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., CI/CD pipelines).
- Understanding of database design and data warehousing.
- Experience with agile working methods.
It is an advantage if you are already familiar with Novo Nordisk’s production, as this will help you identify valuable data insights more efficiently.
