The position
In the role as Communication Partner, your tasks will include proactively driving communication strategies and producing engaging contents in support of the overall business outcomes we pursue in close collaboration with communication experts and a range of colleagues from across Novo Nordisk, including public affairs. 
Othar Main tasks include:

  • Being responsible for the strategic communication agenda in relation to the sustainable development of our sites and services
  • Developing and managing key internal and external communication strategies
  • Supporting, advising, briefing, producing, and developing communication materials ensuring the communication is clear, proofed, up-to-date, timely, accessible, and engaging across all types of media. Eg PowerPoint, web, social media, area mails and development of new media
  • Identifying project and operational communication needs in an evolving space, while balancing contradictory legal, political, and practical interests from both internal and external actors
  • Driving and contributing to strategic communication activities across Corporate Facilities to support on-going business priorities

 

The job offers frequent senior management interaction and engagements across the organisation, multiple functions and with external stakeholders, allowing you to build a strong network, while further strengthening your communication- and project management skills. As a communication professional you will also be part of the Novo Nordisk Global Communicators’ Network and other informal networks. 
 

This position is based in the Novo Nordisk headquarters in Bagsværd, and your presence in the office is required, with remote work as an infrequent exception. 


Qualifications
We are looking for a future colleague with an educational background within communication or journalism combined with minimum 5 years of experience as a communication professional, working with internal and external communication. Other success criteria are: 

  • Excellent communication skills and Strong networking and stakeholder management skills
  • Track record of overseeing and driving communication across a range of platforms incl. SoMe, virtual and print media etc
  • High proficiency in both English and Danish languages
  • Business understanding and a curiosity to deepen it

 

On a personal level, you have a structured, proactive, and result-oriented work style, with a capacity for strategic thinking, and you are willing to take full ownership of your work, showing dedication to all aspects of it, from high-level planning to hands-on foundational tasks, while being able to see projects through from inception to completion, ensuring a seamless end-to-end workflow.

 

Furthermore, we expect you to act as an ambitious, trusted and pro-active sparring partner by providing competent input to senior leaders, project managers and service owners on best communication solutions and use of channels, and to be expert in transforming topics such as infrastructure and scaling, utilities and green transformation, security and digital transformation, facility services and much more into compelling communication that is understandable and easy to use.

Around 300 colleagues from countless of professional fields make up Corporate Facilities, which is anchored in the area Finance, Legal and Global Solutions. We enable Novo Nordisk to focus on the core business by delivering simple and agile solutions for physical infrastructures (campuses, real estate, utilities, workplaces), facility management services as well as security operations, while progressing a major project portfolio.
