Communication Intern

Your new role

In the role you will support initiatives related to driving Novo Nordisk’s Environmental Strategy. You will support the development of sustainability communication materials across internal and external platforms, including social media, newsletters, SharePoint, and Viva Engage. You will help create engaging sustainability stories, maintain and update internal communication channels, and support project management activities related to sustainability communication. In addition, you will assist with administrative tasks such as planning events, graphic tasks, and various ad hoc tasks.

The internship position is a full-time position for 6-12 months, and the preferred starting date is mid-August 2026.

Environmental Responsibility is a diverse team responsible for Novo Nordisk Environmental strategy ‘Circular for Zero’, where we strive for zero environmental impact. Our responsibility includes a variety of environmental initiatives across the organisation and external stakeholders. We develop and deploy environmental strategies, run cross-organisational projects, and drive environmental intelligence leading to a reduced Novo Nordisk environmental footprint.

Your skills & qualifications

We are looking for an Intern with a strong interest in communication and environmental topics. You are service-minded, detail-oriented, and proactive with a can-do attitude. You are curious and eager to contribute, whether independently or as part of a team. You are an experienced user of MS Excel, and a good communicator.

Moreover, we are looking for an Intern who:

• Is currently enrolled in a master’s degree program in communication or a related field
• Has an interest or experience in corporate sustainability communications, storytelling, digital content creation, and project management
• Is highly proficient in English, both written and spoken

It is an advantage if you have experience with internal communication platforms like SharePoint and Viva Engage and have general environmental knowledge.

Salary and Benefits: if allowed by the educational institution from where the Intern is enrolled, the monthly salary is fixed. The monthly base rate is 15.900 DKK plus a pension scheme (currently 10% employer contribution and 5% employee contribution).
