The position
Your two primary areas of responsibility will be supporting projects on cleaning strategy and supporting the daily API production in matters regarding cleaning. You will:
- Design cleaning strategies, implement new cleaning technologies and approaches, author reports, support production in problem-solving, and support audits and regulatory inspections.
- Work with colleagues across the organization to ensure the implementation of new cleaning processes and collaborate with both our internal and external manufacturing teams.
- Provide ongoing onsite support of facilities for our API manufacturing.
- Develop, execute, and implement operational optimization projects to increase manufacturing efficiencies for personnel and equipment, and ensure quality and compliance.
- Author investigation summaries and create GMP documents, including SOPs and production documents.
Your role will be instrumental in assuring operational practice reflects product specific cleaning strategy and approach. You will need to understand technology operation capabilities, limits, and control strategies in the manufacturing plants. You will experience an enthusiastic working climate focused on quality, teamwork, and delivery.
Qualifications
We expect that you:
- Have a solid theoretical background and an academic degree (Cand. Pharm, Chemical Engineer, Chemistry, or similar discipline).
- Possess specialized knowledge within the field of cleaning and/or cleaning validation from pharmaceutical production.
- Have experience in managing projects in a GMP regulated environment.
- Are fluent in both written and spoken Danish and English.
- Knowledge of LEAN principles and experience with cleaning for peptides and/or oligonucleotides at manufacturing scale is a strong advantage.
On a personal level your positive attitude, commitment and working in a systematic manner will be important to succeed in this role. You will engage in troubleshooting to support the manufacturing activities and perform a variety of activities to ensure our license to operate. So you need to be able to find challenges exciting, while maintaining your overview and acting in compliance with regulations despite being busy and involved in various tasks simultaneously. It is important that you are a good communicator, since you are in daily contact with internal and external stakeholders across the world.
About the department
As part of Novo Nordisk’s Product Supply organization, you will be assigned to Emerging Technologies API Manufacturing Development (ET API MDev). We work at the interface between CMC and full-scale manufacturing with a focus on process understanding, implementation, optimization, and life cycle management.
