The position
As Business Development Partner, you will provide support to the Sustainability & Development Manager & Director of the department, as well as the management teams of the area with analysis and presentations, which they can rely on as a basis for decision making by contributing through application of expertise and knowledge.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Taking ownership of and leading internal back-office business support processes, ensuring continuous improvement and optimization of projects
  • Coordinating with key stakeholders across areas and contributing proactively to the development of objectives, strategies, and policies
  • Setting direction and driving key processes, including initiating business cases from data analysis and creating business plans, business review, risk reporting, resource management.
  • Playing a key role in preparing large presentations, focusing on clear storyline and key messages for management
  • Designing and facilitating strategic workshops to support decision-making and problem-solving

You will play a key role for the development of the whole area of Global Logistic & Distribution.

 

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, we believe you to:

  • Hold a master’s degree in business, management, biology, or another relevant field
  • Bring experience from a comparable position within a large organisation, coupled with solid business acumen
  • Demonstrate strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Showcase a data-driven thinking, a structured mindset, and high-competency level in MS Office/PowerBI & other relevant tools
  • Display full proficiency in both spoken and written English

 

On a personal level, you have outstanding communication skills, proactively connecting with stakeholders at all levels and supporting leadership decision-making. You are able to keep a helicopter view and get energy from driving and optimising projects, while fostering collaboration and business partnering. Skilled in data analysis, you simplify complex information and communicate it in an easy way at all organisational levels. You are creative and innovative, not afraid to challenge the status-quo. Lastly, you are a natural people person with a talent for reading the room, thriving in a supportive team environment.

 

About the Department
Global Logistics & Distribution (GL&D) is a central organisation in Supply Chain and Business Development, managing all cross-functional logistical systems and processes and Finance. We are app. 80+ employees in Bagsvaerd (DK) and 10 in Bangalore (India). The department assumes primary accountability for the global distribution of Novo Nordisk products across production sites, affiliates, and regional offices worldwide. Our core objective is to ensure exceptional service and delivery while striking a balance between minimizing our environmental footprint and mitigating financial implications. Additionally, we hold the responsibility for the secure storage of GxP products, encompassing both inbound and outbound distribution processes. While taking the responsibility for global distribution, GL&D is responsible for overseeing and complying with all regulatory and quality requirements related to distribution of pharmaceuticals, managing the distribution cost and performance management of our warehouses and vendors.
