Category:  Human Resource Management
Location:

Bagsværd, Capital Region of Denmark, DK

This is an opportunity to make a visible, high-impact contribution by turning business needs into clear insights, recommendations, and improved ways of working as a Business Analyst in Novo Nordisk. You will partner closely with the Associate Vice President and key stakeholders to strengthen decision-making through data, structured analysis, and strong business understanding.

Your new role

As Business Analyst, you will drive analysis across department performance, processes, and initiatives. You will translate stakeholder needs into structured problem statements, requirements, and actionable insights, enabling prioritisation and continuous improvements. Administrative support is limited and mainly related to light coordination to ensure follow-through on key decisions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Business analysis & decision support: structure business questions, gather and clarify needs with stakeholders, and convert them into requirements, hypotheses, and analysis plans; prepare concise decision material (e.g., recommendations, options, trade-offs) for the Associate Vice President and leadership forums.
  • Technology-enabled business improvement & AI tools: drive business improvements through digital and AI solutions by linking business needs with technology. Shape solution concepts, value cases, and adoption considerations. Operate, maintain, and enhance AI-powered tools using Azure Databricks for hosting and deployment, Python for data processing and automation, Streamlit for the web interface, and generative AI APIs for text analysis and summarisation.
  • Performance reporting & insights: define and maintain relevant KPIs, dashboards, and recurring performance overviews; identify trends, opportunities, and risks, and communicate insights in a clear, audience-focused way.
  • Process improvement & ways of working: lead improvement initiatives once decisions are made, including process mapping, root cause analysis, facilitation of workshops, and documentation of processes, roles, and governance to ensure sustainable adoption.
  • Portfolio, financial, compliance & operational coordination: support business-side portfolio and financial follow-up by consolidating inputs, tracking spends and forecasts, highlighting deviations and risks, and coordinating closely with Finance to enable timely management decisions. Coordinate follow-through on agreed compliance and risk actions (e.g. GDPR-related activities), clarifying ownership, tracking progress, and ensuring escalation where needed. In addition, coordinate selected recurring touchpoints, maintain decision and action logs, and support shared information channels to ensure transparency and momentum.
  • Stakeholder management & communication: build strong, trust-based relationships across the department and with key partners. Ensure shared understanding of scope, decisions, priorities, and progress through structured, transparent and audience-focused communication.
