The Position

As an IT/OT automation specialist you will drive standardization in OT integration from our SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) Template solution for warehouse automation. Our SAP EWM Template solution is required to work with an array of warehouse automation equipment from multiple vendors. In this context it is important to achieve an alignment of communication technologies and protocols for OT integration. 

  

Your primary tasks will include the following: 

  • Safeguarding automation elements in SAP EWM Template.
  • Driving alignment for future automated processes with Intralogistics 4.0 across all business areas (i.e. FFEx, API etc).
  • Developing new OT automation requirements from WareX projects in collaboration with Programme and Domain Architects and Intralogistics 4.0. 
  • Defining WareX use cases for automation standards.
  • Defining package for new automation vendors.

 

You will be also participating in analysis workshops defining warehouse automation integration from SAP EWM to local equipment in WareX implementation projects as well as supporting WareX implementation projects in build phase on OT automation integration issues. 

 

Qualifications

To succeed in the role, you have:

  • A degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related Engineering Technology degree. 
  • Several years of experience in IT/OT projects with automation.
  • Understanding of/ experience with IT/OT interface technologies such as OPC UA and MQTT as well as SAP products (SAP ECC, SAP EWM).
  • Experience with MFS module from SAP EWM implementations (a plus)
  • Fluent communication skills in English (a must) and Danish (a plus).

 

You are well-versed in IT & Automation and have a strong understanding of current and emerging technologies in IT/OT infrastructure. Moreover, you are accustomed to working with GxP validation of IT systems in a production environment.

Digital, Data & IT (DD&IT) Product Supply (PS) Supply Chain WareX is anchored within the DD&IT Product Supply and is focused on implementing IT solutions to support expansions, digitalisation, and warehouses of the future at Novo Nordisk worldwide.
