The Position

As Procurement Digitalisation Manager you will work as a sourcing specialist to maximise value creation and process efficiencies via our advanced eSourcing technologies. Your primary stakeholders, the global sourcing teams, will rely on your capabilities to develop best-practice sourcing processes, identify optimisation opportunities, and implement with clear guidance on next steps to support major negotiations with our strategic suppliers.

In this position, you will be part of Sourcing Excellence, a great team consisting of eight dedicated and diverse colleagues. The team is the sourcing Centre of Excellence in Novo Nordisk, driving adoption of our procurement systems, currently Coupa, continuous optimisations of our processes and shaping the digital agenda for sourcing activities globally.

Qualifications

You have completed a Master's degree (in Economics, IT, Finance, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Procurement or similar) with excellent results. You have a few years of relevant working experience.

 

  • You have a high interest in sourcing, digitalization, innovative technologies (AI), and high degree of curiosity for understanding stakeholder needs
  • You are thrilled to work with sourcing and negotiation and help drive the execution of category strategies
  • You are motivated by driving change and improvements involving global stakeholders at all organisational levels
  • You are a proactive problem solver, can deep-dive into details and use data-analytics to drive recommendations
  • You have a high level of drive, initiative and persistence and you are result-oriented
  • You excel at translating various data sources into quantifiable and actionable insights
  • You have experience with identifying, structuring, and implementing digitalisation and process optimisations
  • It is a pre-requisite to work fluently in English

In Corporate Procurement we are 150 employees in Denmark and India, and globally more than 500 people work in procurement throughout the organisation responsible for approx. 75% of Novo Nordisk’s spend and for setting the strategic direction. Corporate Procurement is Novo Nordisk’s centre of excellence for digital procurement and sourcing processes.
