The Position

As an Associate Manager, you will join the largest microbiological laboratory at Novo Nordisk, where we are busy and constantly evolving. You can expect that your tasks will include the following key responsibilities:

 

· Lead and develop the team, ensuring well-being and good performance.

 

· Implement strategies, ambitions, LEAN, and GMP mindset.

 

· Ensure compliance with internal and external requirements, continuously improving methods, equipment, and quality in accordance with current GMP.

 

· Optimize processes to ensure best perfomance and lead time according to customer agreements.

 

· Make independent decisions within your team and across the leadership team.

 

· Communicate direction and strategy within the team/department and with key stakeholders.

 

· Challenge existing processes and drive innovation and change.

 

 

Qualifications

To succeed in this position, you have:

 

· Minimum Bachelor’s degree in pharmaceutical science, science, engineering, or a related field.

 

· 2-3 years of experience in laboratory/line management, project management, or another informal leadership role.

 

· Solid knowledge of GMP, production processes, and/or quality control/microbiological analysis.

 

· A proven track record of strong management skills and achieving ambitious goals.

 

· Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

 

· The ability to make independent decisions and navigate complex technical and people management areas.

 

· Fluency in Danish and English.

 

 

About the Department

Quality Control Microbiology (QCM) is part of AMSAT QC and comprises approximately 140 employees divided into 8 teams: 6 analytical teams, 1 stability team, and 1 equipment team. We collaborate across our laboratories located in Gentofte and Bagsværd, with the primary workplace for this position being Bagsværd.

 

We conduct microbiological analyses on environmental samples, water, and finished insulin products. We have extensive interactions with our stakeholders in production, where, as a leader, you will play a pivotal role.

 

The team you will lead is an analysis team consisting of 10 laboratory technicians and 3 operators. Our responsibilities include environmental analyses, microorganism identification, analysis of biological indicators and production of media.
