The Position

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Associate Manager to lead one of our Environmental Monitoring Teams within our aseptic production facility. This role is based at our site in Bagsværd and involves close collaboration with both the team and the broader management team within the department Production Support, EHS & EM.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a team of 25 skilled operators, overseeing  all aspects of environmental sampling to maintain an aseptic production environment.
  • Lead the daily operations of the monitoring program, fostering a culture of proactive problem-solving and process optimization to enhance our efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Drive our training efforts to ensure effective implementation of improvements and new technology in line with our ongoing advancements at the Bagsværd site.
  • Collaborate closely with the Associate Manager of our second Environmental Monitoring Team to ensure alignment and shared development goals across teams.
  • Actively contribute to the highly engaged management team and report directly to the Senior Director of the department.

 

Qualifications

To succeed in this position, you have:

  • Outstanding people management skills with over 2 years of proven experience as a people manager, delivering impactful results.
  • A genuine enthusiasm for working with people, inspiring and motivating them to achieve exceptional outcomes.
  • A leadership style rooted in empathy and dedication, with a natural drive to consistently deliver on commitments.
  • The ability to build strong relationships, earning trust and respect from colleagues and team members alike.
  • A positive attitude and sense of humour, which help you remain resilient and adaptable in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Proficiency in Danish for daily communication, along with strong written and spoken English skills.

 

About the department

At Novo Nordisk’s production site in Bagsværd we produce marketed products and products for clinical trials. Our aseptic production is an important part of providing quality products to patients globally. We are on an ambitious technological journey to future-proof the production facility. The department is a vital part of this journey and lead initiatives to improve our aseptic environment and support other technology improvements. This involves digitalisation and robots to create better work and aseptic environment in our production.
