Associate Finance Partner

About the department
The Group Reporting & Insights team is responsible for the strategic financial management of Novo Nordisk, supporting key decisions of Executive Management, the CFO and the SVP of Business Finance including advanced financial and strategic analysis. Additionally, the team is responsible for driving the Corporate financial processes such as Monthly Management reporting, forecasts and Quarterly closing processes as well as delivering material for Executive Management and Board of Directors.

The job
As Finance Partner in Group Reporting & Insights your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Running financial processes such as Monthly Management reporting, Quarterly Reporting towards Executive Management and Board of Directors or Group planning processes
- Providing financial analysis to senior management and creating the financial basis for strategic decision making
- Guiding and coordinating various levels of cross-organisational input to financial forecasts incl. scenario analysis and associated resource allocation implications
- Driving continuous improvement and optimisation of the financial processes to ensure financial transparency and sound decision making
- Interacting closely with stakeholders across the organisation to gain insights into the strategic priorities of Novo Nordisk
- Translating complex financial information into easily digestible messages for senior management
Qualifications
- Master’s degree within Finance, Business Administration, Economics or similar
- 0-3 years of relevant working experience in e.g. financial management, business partnering or similar
- You have strong analytical skills, while being good at keeping an eye for the overall purpose
- You can communicate clearly and precisely with people at all levels in the organisation and you have good collaboration skills
- You have a flair for details and therefore an interest in learning and understanding the business behind the numbers
- Professional fluency in English
Depending on the seniority of the candidate we will either offer an Associate Finance Partner role (~0-2 years of experience) or Finance Partner role (~2-3 years of experience).
