Your new role

As Associate Director, QC Network Management, you will set the strategic direction for how Quality Control plans, balances and optimises as one connected global network. You will establish the mandate, operating model, governance and multi-year roadmap for the capability, while ensuring that complex network insights are translated into clear choices and recommendations for senior decision-makers.

Leading a team of senior professionals, you will create an integrated, forward-looking view of QC demand, capacity, constraints, sample flow, capabilities and our ideal future state to ensure that the Global QC organisation is ready to deliver on our company priorities. You will work across organisational boundaries to strengthen transparency, accountability and enterprise thinking throughout the global QC network.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Setting the strategic direction, operating model, governance architecture, decision rights and performance framework for global QC Network Management.
• Driving Global QC to act as one network with respect to capacities and priorities across our global network
• Ensuring a clear interface and prioritisation with production sites
• Translating production forecasts, launches, transfers, portfolio priorities and supply risks into integrated QC network requirements and decision-ready scenarios.
• Owning the medium and long-term network view of demand, capacity, constraints, sample flow, capabilities and future risks.
• Guiding and driving  senior decisions concerning prioritisation, mitigation, resources, capabilities, footprint, technology and investment.
• Leading, coaching and developing senior professionals while building succession, resilience and scalable organizational capability.

Your new department

You will lead Global QC Network Management within Global Quality Control and report to the Senior Director, Global Quality Control Business Operations. The position has global responsibility across the QC network and works closely with Global Manufacturing and Supply, including API, Aseptic Manufacturing, Finished Production, Tablets and Supply Chain.

Your stakeholder landscape will  include senior Quality leadership across Manufacturing Quality, senior Supply Chain leadership and Senior leadership from Novo Nordisk manufacturing sites as well as the global ASAT and Business Operations functions .Through these partnerships, you will help align manufacturing demand and supply priorities with QC network capacity and capabilities, while presenting strategic options for managing capacity, release and network risks.

Your skills and qualifications

You are a strategic and organisational leader who can navigate complexity, establish accountability and create alignment across a global matrix. You combine a strong quality mindset with commercial and operational judgement, and you are comfortable constructively challenging senior stakeholders when enterprise-level choices are required.

To succeed in this position, we expect you to bring:

• A relevant master’s degree, or equivalent experience, in business operations, supply chain, quality, engineering, life sciences, operations management or a related field.
• Extensive leadership experience in a complex global matrix organization, including responsibility for senior professionals with broad and independent mandates.
• Proven experience establishing or significantly developing a global capability, operating model or governance structure.
• Substantial experience in QC, pharmaceutical manufacturing, supply chain planning, quality, business operations or another regulated operational environment.
• Strong executive communication, negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to turn complex data and competing requirements into clear strategic choices.

You bring sound judgement, adaptability and a continuous improvement mindset. Just as importantly, you can balance local realities and proximity to production with the long-term needs and resilience of a global network.

Salary: For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 847.000 (Dkr) to 1.245.100 (Dkr), corresponding to the level of the position.
The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.

Incentives and Benefits: The salary package may include short-term and/or long-term incentives as well as other employee benefits based on position level, location, functional area and relevant market benchmarks.
