The position

As an Associate Category Manager at Novo Nordisk, you will:

  • Support experienced category managers in strategic decision-making and execution.
  • Participate in strategic planning sessions to provide insights and support.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of category strategies in alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Provide analytical support by collecting and analysing category data, market trends, and consumer behaviour to identify opportunities for growth and optimisation.
  • Create and maintain dashboards and reports for category performance metrics.
  • Monitor and report on emerging market trends and their potential impact on the category.
  • Compile competitor analysis reports to identify market positioning and opportunities.

 

Qualifications

The successful candidate should have the following:

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience within Category Management or Procurement.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to collect and interpret data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

 

About the department

Corporate Procurement is anchored within Global Solutions area which reports to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Novo Nordisk. In addition, we build strategies and execute improvement projects to optimize the global indirect spend of DKK +50 billion related to, e.g., Facility Management, R&D activities, Marketing services, Travel, Professional Advisory Services, and IT.
