Your new role

As an Associate Analytics Lead – BI, you will be part of the Advanced Analytics team and work in close collaboration with experienced data and BI professionals, procurement system, process specialists and category managers to generate meaningful insights from large and complex data sources. You will be responsible for turning data into actionable, timely, and impactful insights, enabling high-quality analytics and dashboards that support strategic procurement decisions and drive value creation.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted analytics and BI partner within Corporate Procurement, driving the development, rollout, and continuous improvement of Power BI dashboards, analytics products, and performance management.
  • Define, standardize, and govern procurement KPIs, ensuring transparent definitions, consistent measurement, and clear data lineage from source systems to dashboards.
  • Provide actionable insights across the end-to-end Source-to-Pay area to identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiency gains and user experience enhancement.
  • Support category management analytics, including spend and savings analysis, market intelligence, and preferred supplier usage, helping category managers drive value creation.

 

Your new department

Corporate Procurement is the Centre of Excellence for procurement in Novo Nordisk. We are responsible for the global procurement strategy, processes, and systems. We define and drive the global procurement strategy with around 150 employees in Denmark and over 500 globally, acting as a strategic partner in executing the company’s strategy and enabling value at scale. A key enabler for taking Procurement to the next level will be to leverage holistic insights to drive value in and from procurement. The Advanced Analytics team is responsible for driving this journey.

 

Your skills and qualifications

  • Bachelor/Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, or a similar field.
  • 5–7+ years of experience in BI and analytics or related fields. Experience in Procurement BI is a plus.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Power BI, including data modelling, DAX, Power Query, semantic models, dashboard design, report optimisation, and deployment of scalable BI solutions. Understanding of modern BI and data platforms.
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks is an advantage. You are curious, think outside the box, and are eager to explore how AI can transform procurement from passive reporting to proactive analytics that accelerate decision-making and enhance user experience.
  • You are structured in your problem-solving approach and able to break down complex business questions into clear analytical tasks. You are a strong team member with a can-do attitude and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • You can navigate a complex stakeholder landscape and communicate effectively with stakeholders from different functions, seniority levels, cultures, and domain backgrounds.

Salary: For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 651,000 to 956,900 DKK, corresponding to the level of the position.
The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.

 

Incentives and Benefits: The salary package may include short-term and/or long-term incentives as well as other employee benefits based on position level, location, functional area and relevant market benchmarks.
